Host an APMA Coding Seminar at Your Next Meeting
APMA Coding Seminars have become a staple at podiatry-related meetings and reach more than 10 percent of APMA’s population on average in a given year through our partnership with state and regional components. Each seminar is presented by a certified APMA Coding Committee member(s) and includes PowerPoint presentations followed by a question-and-answer session. If you are interested in hosting a seminar at your meeting, complete the Coding Seminar Request Form and a staff member will be in touch with you soon.

CPME Responds to Impact COVID-19 Has Had on Residency Programs
Recognizing the continued impact COVID-19 is having on residency training programs, CPME has decreased the required MAVs (minimum activity volume) by 15 percent for all categories and waived the diversity requirements for residents graduating in 2021. The council also approved a petition to allow programs the flexibility to provide alternative clinical experiences if a required rotation cannot be completed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At-Large Member Positions Open on the Council
The CPME Nominating Committee is seeking applications for four at-large and one postsecondary educator positions on the council. CPME will hold a closed ballot election to fill the positions at its October 2021 meeting. The positions are for a three-year term renewable up to three consecutive terms. | READ MORE >
