| The US Small Business Administration, in consultation with the Treasury Department, has reopened the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for new borrowers. Under the latest guidance, 501 C (6) organizations such as professional associations are eligible to apply for PPP funds. | As previously reported, APMA wrote a letter to the National Governors Association recommending that states authorize podiatric physicians to prescribe and administer the COVID-19 vaccine. Over the past month, APMA has worked with state component societies to reach out to state policymakers.
